World Tourism Day Celebrations by Chhattisgarh Tourism Board
World Tourism Day is celebrated on 27th September 2012 every year to highlight the importance of Tourism sector.
To celebrate the event Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, Raipur has organized functions in Raipur which will be held from the 25th to 27th September 2012 at Guru Teg Bahadur Hall, Infront of Raj Bhawan, Raipur.
The Inauguration for the celebrations is to be held on the 25th September 2012 at 7.00 pm
The Program schedule for the event is as under :-
25th September 2012 - Dance by Shanti Bai Chelak (Pandwani ),
Perda Lucky Mohanty and Purnashree Raut Group (Oddisi), Raipur
Khairagarh Kathak Group
26th September 2012 – Painting and Photography Competition (Timing 10 am to 4 pm)
Chhattisgarhi Folk Dance Shri Ramadhar Sahu (Chandaini), Kachandur.
Dr Bidya Deshpande (Kathak) –Nashik, Maharashtra
27th September 2012 – Harish Bhatti Group, Raipur (Kathak and Tourism Theme Song)
G Ratheesh Babu, Bhilai (Bharatnatyam)
The Closing ceremony for the celebrations will be held on the 27th September 2012 at 7.00 pm in which the Hon’ble Tourism Minister, Govt of Chhattisgarh will be the Chief Guest.
